Terms of Use

Effective September 15, 2026 · BrainBerry is made by SwiftForge Studios.

The short version BrainBerry helps you study your own notes. Use it for that, keep your account to yourself, and don't try to make it do your assignments. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple ID settings.

Using BrainBerry

You need an account, and you're responsible for what happens under it. Upload only material you're allowed to use: your own notes, and pages from books or slides for your personal study. Don't upload other people's personal information.

BrainBerry generates questions and feedback with AI. It works from your material and is usually accurate, but it can make mistakes. Check anything important against your notes and your teacher. BrainBerry is a study aid, not a substitute for the course.

It will teach you anything; it will never do your assignment. Attempts to use BrainBerry to produce graded work you submit as your own are against these terms.

Free tier and BrainBerry Pro

The free tier lets you upload a limited number of pages and quiz on them without limit. BrainBerry Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that removes the page limit, subject to fair use: we may slow or pause uploads that are far beyond normal personal study.

Pro is offered as a monthly, six-month, or yearly plan. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

Your content

Your notes, photos, questions, and answers stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can delete your account and everything in it from the profile screen at any time.

Availability and changes

We work to keep BrainBerry available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control, and we may change or discontinue features. If we make a change that materially affects a paid subscription, we'll tell you in the app and you can cancel.

Accounts and conduct

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use BrainBerry in ways that break the law or these terms. If that happens with an active subscription, contact us and we'll sort out any refund with Apple.

Liability

BrainBerry is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, SwiftForge Studios isn't liable for grades, missed deadlines, or other losses that result from relying on the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and note it in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
